Q&A with Jorge
When to Flower
I watched all of your videos and your DVD, but I still have a question. When is the very earliest you can flower your plants to produce buds?
On the DVD I showed you how to distinguish male from female plants when they pre-flower. Male and female plants grow pre-flowers about eight weeks after the seeds sprouted. Seedlings show pre-flowers during vegetative growth under 18-24 hours of light. At this point they are at the end of the vegetative growth stage and can be induced to flower with 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness and 12 hours of light. Seedlings that are induced to flower before they show pre-flowers will not flower any sooner and they could develop poorly if forced to flower too soon.[/one_half]
This indoor cannabis garden has been flowering 10 days.
This marijuana bud has just passed peak ripeness and can be harvested any time.
This big outdoor marijuana greenhouse in Mexico uses lights at night to break up the darkness. Turning lights on at night for 30 minutes stops plants from flowering.
This indoor marijuana garden has just started the 12-hour day and night flowering period. Flowers should be clearly visible in two weeks.
I love this foto of Yumboldt marijuana flowering!
